Obama says he will focus on jobs, again.

President Obama held a press conference yesterday where he declared, "And I think we are past the crisis point in the economy, but we now have to pivot and focus on jobs and growth."

Haven't we heard that before?

We have.

In January, during his State of the Union address, the president had this to say: “That is why jobs must be our number one focus in 2010." However, the national unemployment rate was at 9.5 percent entire for the entire year. A few days before the State of the Union, he vowed a  "laser-like focus on jobs."

In 2008, President-elect Obama said he had a goal of creating three million jobs. As of August 2010, the economy had lost 2.6 million jobs since he was inaugurated. Nearly all of them were private-sector positions.

Here's what Obama really did: He focused on unpopular job-killing bills such as ObamaCare and cap and trade. He tried to end the Bush tax cuts, which would harm the job-creating class. The threat of a union card check bill was always in the air.

Why should we believe Obama on his "new" emphasis on job creation?

Here is something to compel you to doubt him: His EPA continues to put forth anti-jobs regulations.
