Another tea party victory: No NRSC primary endorsements

The National Republican Senatorial Committee ended up with a lot of egg on its face after it endorsed Governor Charlie Crist over conservative and Tea Party favorite Marco Rubio in the Florida Senate Primary. Crist ended up leaving the party and running for the Senate as an independent. Rubio easily won in the general election and is viewed as the one the rising stars in the GOP.

US News and World Report's Whispers blog hears that Committee Chairman Sen. John Cornyn of Texas is telling conservatative critics, "I heard you."
