Tea party protest against ShoreBank today at noon in Chicago

Astoundingly, ten banks have failed in Illinois this year. But Chicago-based ShoreBank, which is closely tied to the Obama administration, was bailed out. This is crony capitalism at its worst.

Come protest this outrage today at its Loop branch.

From a Joel Pollak press release:

The Pollak For Congress campaign will be leading a demonstration today, June 9 at 12:00 noon outside the downtown location of ShoreBank at 134 N. LaSalle Street, across the road from City Hall.

Joel Pollak, Republican nominee for U.S. Congress in the 9th district of Illinois against Democrat Jan Schakowsky, will be joined by Rev. Isaac Hayes, Republican nominee for U.S. Congress in the 2nd district against Jesse Jackson, Jr. We will also be joined by members of the Chicago Tea Party.

We will be handing out information to the public about the corrupt ShoreBank bailout, and why the federal government should close the bank instead of giving it an additional $75 million in taxpayer dollars.
There will be street theatre. How do I know? Because I'm providing it.

William J. Kelly, former GOP candidate for Illinois comptroller, will also speak at the protest.
