Rasmussen: 46 percent view Tea Party good for USA, 31 percent disagree

In a poll released this morning, Rasmussen Reports finds that 46 percent of Americans view the Tea Party movement as a good thing for this country, 31 percent disagree.

To me this means two things: Despite relentless attacks by the establishment media against the movement, such as calling it "extreme" or "racist," more Americans view it as favorable to this nation than unfavorable--Tea Parties are resilient. Secondly, most Americans are not paying close attention to this fall's midterms. And since a clear majority of voters want to repeal ObamaCare, support for the Tea Party movement, and those politicians who back it, will rise. Opposition to ObamaCare is signature position for Tea Partiers.
