Obama tells grads: "Don't make excuses"; kid falls asleep during speech

President Obama was in Kalamazoo, Michigan to give a high school commencement address. He offered the students some good advice: "Don't make excuses. Take responsibility not just for your successes; take responsibility where you fall short as well." Yet the president, who has been in office for 15 months, continues to blame his predecessor for his problems.

Did Obama blame Bush for the grad falling asleep during his speech?

Sleeping can be an opinion.

A month earlier, while addressing the graduation class at the University of Michigan, the president called for "civility" within the political discourse. Yet Obama is silent when people within his camp refer to tea partiers with a sexual slang term. In fact, he's done that himself.

How uncivil.

There was some good news: Since there were no foreign leaders at either ceremony, Obama didn't bow down to anyone.
