Mark Knopfler: Sailing to Philadelphia

Last year Mark Knopfler performed the title track of his 2000 Sailing to Philadelphia album at the Prince's Trust Concert; the tune is a rare brand of rock song--it tells a historical tale, the surveying of the Mason-Dixon Line, the border between Pennsylvania and Maryland.

The studio version is a duet between the former Dire Straits frontman and James Taylor. Knopfler takes the part of fellow Geordie Jeremiah Dixon, Taylor is Charles Mason.
