It's said that Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is an accomplished vote counter, but she shouldn't overlook Rep. Bart Stupak (D-MI) who represents a part of the country, Michigan's Upper Peninsula, which is accustomed to being overlooked.Stupak inserted the anti-abortion funding amendment that put the Democrats health reform bill over the top in the House last November, but the Senate bill didn't include the Stupak Amendment. The Michigander says he knows of 11 House Democrats who will vote against the revived ObamaCare legislation--and my guess is that this number will grow.
