More on the public sector pension crisis

For decades California was viewed as a bellwether state in regards to all types of things--the first modern tax revolt emerged from there, the first HMO was in California...Ronald Reagan's political career began there.

Public employee unions have obtained their greatest level of power in the tarnished-state, which is why the California is the epicenter of the public employee pension crisis.

More than 3,000 retired California educators are earning more than $100,00 a year pensions. Some of them are double-dippers.

But let's not blame everything on the unions. Poltroon politicians agreed to these taxpayer-penalizing contracts.
