Republican Kirk Dillard, who appeared in an Obama ad, gets Sun-Times endorsement

This morning the Chicago Sun-Times endorsed Kirk Dillard in next month's Illinois Republican gubernatorial primary. It touts his ability to work with everyone, which of course includes--see below post--Bill Cellini, who was part of the Rod Blagojevich indictment catch.

Dillard is best known outside of Illinois as the Republican who had the audacity to appear in a Barack Obama television ad.

But in November, he said of Obama, "I told you he was a socialist."
