The first series of tea parties occurred on February 27. The Chicago event, and remember the tea party movement was ignited by a Rick Santilli rant on the floor of a Chicago financial exchange.The Chicago American Gothic statue overlooked that tea party on that chilly Friday, and it is my second entry of my Favorite Photographs of 2009.
