Ill gov race: Of GOP candidates, only Jim Ryan is not in debt

This morning, seven Republicans were vying for the governor's office in Illinois. Bob Schillerstrom dropped out, and as you've read here, he's backing Jim Ryan.

And of these candidates, the Champaign News-Gazette reports, only Jim isn't in debt. He doesn't owe anyone, and hasn't lent his campaign money.

Read into that whatever you want.

Republican (remember these guys are talking about reckless spending) debts:

Andy McKenna $450,000

Kirk Dillard $384,814

Adam Andrzejewski $865,120

Bob Schillerstrom $100,000

Bill Brady $502,762

Jim Ryan 0

Dan Proft $84,000
