Joining a large group of other DuPage County officials, Sheriff John Zaruba today endorsed Jim Ryan for governor. County board Chairman Bob Schillerstrom, a former candidate for governor, and State's Attorney Joe Birkett, who was the Republican nominee for lieutenant governor in 2006, endorsed Ryan earlier this month.For a complete list of the DuPage County officials who have endorsed Jim, click here.
With over 900,00 residents, the GOP stronghold is Illinois' second most populous county.
