Will a cover-up sink Alexi Giannoulias?

As I've written many times in this space, Illinois State Treasurer Alexi Giannoulias road to victory in 2006 while touting his banking credentials. Veteran Chicago political operative Don Rose--who is no George W. Bush conservative--wonders if a cover-up involving the state's money losing college savings fund will sink the Chicago Democrat's run for the US Senate.
