Orange, yellow, and a river

The fall colors of Chicago's northern suburbs are still brilliant. I took this photograph this afternoon from the Touhy Avenue bridge in Niles--below the leaves is the North Branch of the Chicago River. The tree on the left is a green ash, on the right is a sugar maple.
