Illinois GOP to host gubernatorial debate

It's a good thing that the Illinois Republican Party chose a large hotel to hold a gubernatorial debate--there could be seven candidates and their staff particpating. A big arena is needed.

Here's the scoop on the debate:

Date: Thursday, November 5, 2009
Location: Chicago Hilton and Towers
720 S. Michigan Ave., Chicago, IL
Time: 6:30 p.m. (Debate)

The Illinois Republican Party is hosting this debate to showcase our gubernatorial candidates and to educate Illinois citizens on the issues.

All current Republican Gubernatorial Candidates have been invited to participate; however, only candidates that meet the Illinois State Board of Elections filing requirements will be allowed to take the stage.

Information regarding ticket prices, additional candidiate criteria and the program format will be forthcoming.
