The only east to west crossing of Yosemite National park, by car, is Tioga Pass Road. About a mile west of White Wolf Campground is Siesta Lake, which is actually a pond. It's slowing filling in--and will become a marsh, then a meadow, and finally part of the surrounding forest.Technorati tags:
