This week's theme is metal, and since tomorrow is the 65th anniversary of D-Day, I chose this statue of General Dwight D. Eisenhower, who commanded the Normandy invasion.
The bronze statue of Ike can be found on the grounds of The Eisenhower Presidential Library and Museum in Abilene, Kansas.
