I've posted many pictures of the North Branch of the Chicago River taken in Morton Grove, Niles, and Glenview. But I believe this is the first one captured within Chicago's city limits. Today I ran 12 miles, the most I've run since last year's Chicago Marathon, and the extra mile took me into Daley-land, specifically Caldwell Woods, near the intersection of Devon and Milwaukee Avenues.
Kind of looks like Mississippi, doesn't it?
