Determination: UK Iraq vet finishes London Marathon on crutches

Anyone up for an inspirational story from our ally across the Atlantic?

The Times of London reports on British Major Phil Packer, a paraplegic as a result of the injuries he received from a rocket attack in Basra.

The Great Briton crossed the finish line of the London Marathon today--on crutches. It took him 13 days--Packer walked two miles a day.

Packer, who has also served in Bosnia, Northern Ireland, and Kosovo, hopes to raise raise £1 million for the Help for Heroes charity.

And it's not just marathons for Packer. He has already rowed the English Channel, skydived, and next month he's traveling to Yosemite National Park to climb El Capitan.
