"If Kenya doesn't solve it's own corruption problem, then it will never grow." That's what Barack Obama said about a half hour ago in a town hall speech in Strasbourg, France.
What no comment about corruption in your home state for the Europeans, Mr. President? Well, just yesterday Governor Rod Blagojevich, who Obama endorsed twice, was indicted in what the US Attorney's office calls "a wide-ranging scheme to deprive the people of Illinois of honest government."
To be fair to Obama, he did not endorse Blago in the 2002 Democratic primary election. Then-State Senator Obama supported Roland Burris, who is under investigation for perjury because of his multiple explanations on the events leading up to his appointment to the US Senate by Blagojevich.
Corruption? Don't just point the finger at Kenya, Mr. President. Take a close look back home.
