State senator wants Ayers fired

I don't think the push by state Senator Larry Bromke (R-Springfield) to fire former Weather Underground terrorist Bill "Bomber" Ayers is going anywhere, but I'm blogging it anyway.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Bromke has proposed a bill that will bar anyone who has committed an act of violence against the governmenat from working at an state university.

Erstwhile Weather Underground terrorist Ayers, although never convicted of a crime--charges against him were dismissed because of illegal surveillance activivites by the federal government--admitted in his memoir Fugitive Days that he bombed the Pentagon.

Ayers is a tenured education professor at the University of Illinois-Chicago.

In other Ayers news, Third Wave Dave has a report on a protest of an Ayers speaking engagement at a California Catholic college.

  1. Rubes,

Billy Boy Ayers the Cadillac Commie and Chicago's Distinguished Onanist.

It's a nice gesture - far too late - but Ayers will stay on the job. Let him. Some University Nodder gave him the job - I wonder who taht was?

The State should not be in the business of rooting out Commies and nutjobs. Rather, people of good sense like yourself are needed to point out their inherent waste of space on our planet.

Hell, the Klonsky Boys - proud Reds - make Education Policy and influence teachers unions.

    At least they are working.
