Blago and Burris win, Illinois loses

Well, it's over. The people of Illinois have been dealt a joker from the bottom of a deck of cards belonging to a madman, impeached Governor Rod Blagojevich.

Roland Burris will be Illinois' next Senator. To quote the what labor organizer Joe Hill wrote shortly before his execution, "Don't waste any time in mourning. Organize..."

Morton Grove businessman and Illinois Republican Party chairman Andy McKenna appeared on NBC 5 Chicago reminded viewers that it was the Democrats who first called for a special election to fill Barack Obama's vacant Senate seat.

    Now that Burris is officially the
    new (JR) senator, there's no way
    to oust him out of his seat! Even
    if Burris did get ousted, Ms.
    Mitchell and her minions would
    trump the "Race" card!!!!
