Michelle Obama's cop cousin demoted

Having a relative living in the White House is no guarantee of career advancement. In fact, it's no guarantee that you'll be pushed down a notch. Just ask Michael Shields, a cousin of Michelle Obama. The Chicago Sun-Times has more:

Shields, the former deputy superintendent of strategic deployment, was bucked down to a lieutenant at the Belmont Area headquarters at a far lower pay scale.
