ACORN Lake County, Ind. vote fraud update: Each of the first 2,100 registrations are phony

Drew Griffin of CNN's special investigation took a look at the first 2,100 registrations ACORN turned into Lake County, Indiana officials, and guess what? They're all fraudulent. All of them.

Lake County, which abuts Chicago on its western border, is Indiana's second-most populous county--it's heavily Democratic.

ACORN had nothing to do with this scandal, but I'm mentioning it to show that there is a history of vote fraud in Lake County. In 2004, the Indiana State Supreme Court ordered a revote of the prior year's Democratic Primary in the Lake County city of East Chicago because of fraudulent voting that took place. Over thirty people were convicted of election fraud in the subsequent investigation.

In 1962, Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy said Lake County was one of the most corrupt in the nation.

More recently, heck, just a few months ago, there were allegations that Illinois residents crossed the border into Lake County to vote in the Indiana Democratic Primary.

Throw ACORN into the mix, and we have a "perfect storm" of suspicious electoral activity.
