Blogging at the Republican National Convention, Xcel Center, St. Paul Minnesota.A few minutes ago Senator John McCain inspected what I'm calling the "town hall" stage inside the Xcel Center. The runway runs about 15 yards from the main stage.
The set-up of the platform suits McCain well. And it's a long way from the the pretentious set-up Barack Obama, dubbed "Barackopolis" by Chicago Tribune columnist John Kass, and mocked by Sarah Palin last during her acceptance last night.
