Biden the buffoon...today's gaffes

Wow...I have to say I'm impressed. Joe Biden is exceeding my high expectations as a gaffe king. I rarely excerpt from my own posts, but I have to highlight this passage from my Friday Biden the Buffoon post:

Yeah he's run for president before, but he was out of the race very early both times. Now he's flying from state to state, from time zone to time zone, from rotten meal to rotten meal. It's much different than campaigning in Delaware--San Bernadino County in California and Cherry County in Nebraska are larger in area than Biden's tiny state.

Biden can't hack the travel, the constant questions, or the pressure. Not only is Barack Obama not ready to be president, neither is Biden.

Today Biden said that Franklin Delano Roosevelt was our nation's leader after the 1929 stock market crash. Perhaps he did--as New York's governor. FDR didn't become president until 1933.

It gets worse for Biden. He also said Roosevelt "got on the television and didn't just talk about the, you know, the princes of greed. He said, 'Look, here's what happened.'"

Roosevelt spoke to Americans on the radio...television sets didn't become commercially available until the late 1930s, and few Americans had one until the end of the following decade.

Let's see...what else...Oh, Biden says he doesn't want any coal plants--additional ones I guess, in the United States. Even clean coal plants.

Barack Obama has been talking, mostly from both sides of his mouth, in favor of clean coal. On paper both he and Biden support it. Although Obama seems to only talk favorably about coal when he's in coal producing areas such as Montana, Kentucky, and the southern part of his home state.

But Biden the Buffoon had this to say today:

No coal plants here in America. Build them, if they're going to build them, over there (in China). Make them clean. We're not supporting clean coal.

Anything else? Oh yeah, Obama scolded Biden over his comments about the AIG bailout.

Obama said John McCain flip-flopped on the wisdom of the AIG bailout--Hey, the situation was pretty fluid last week--but when he was confronted by Biden's about-face on AIG, Obama responded, "I think Joe should have waited, as well."

Joe Biden: Not ready to lead.
