"I actually did vote for the $87 billion before I voted against it."
John Kerry, March 16, 2004
"Here's something that you will rarely hear from a politician, and that is that I'm not familiar with the Hanford, uuuuhh, site, so I don’t know exactly what's going on there. (Applause.) Now, having said that, I promise you I'll learn about it by the time I leave here on the ride back to the airport."
Barack Obama, May 18, 2008
Except Obama voted on Hanford, part of H.R. 1815, on December 15, 2005.
ThirdWaveDave has a lot more.
Could you imagine how the media react if it had been John McCain, the older gentleman in the presidential race, who couldn't remember anything about voting on Hanford.
Remember, just last week, the junior senator from my state remarked that there were 57 states in the union.
Oh, the things they get away with...

LOL @ there are 57 states. For a smart guy he doesn't know the realm he seeks to preside over.
ReplyDeleteHe's just so smart! I remember when some folks encountered the Beverly Hillbillies in their mansion, they somehow got unde the impression that the clan consisted of geniuses. Part of their evidence was when someone noticed that for Jethro Bodine, 2 plus 2 equaled 5.
ReplyDeleteActually, he said he'd been in 57 states with 1 more to go.
ReplyDeleteSo, using his math, and based on his unquestionable intellect, there MUST be 58 states.

Shoot...2 plus 2 does equal 5.
ReplyDeleteIf only had I been smarter.
Ya but John McCain started dating someone when he was still married. He has proven that he isn't so sharp. Do you know how many votes a Senator casts every term? It would be like you remembering which abortion clinic you bombed three years ago.
ReplyDeleteBy my count, Obama hasn't even completed one term in the US Senate, and even then, he's been campaigning for most of that.
ReplyDeleteMcCain, on the other hand (not that I'm a fan of John's), has been voting for 20 some years.
You'd think someone as perfect and unassailable as our lovely, put-on-a-rack Emmanuel Lewis, would be able to keep track of the scant few votes he's actually cast (especially one of his first).
Sucks when you don't have Emil Jones keeping track of things for you, now doesn't it?
Ah ... the far-left, anti-everything, Obama apologizers.
Gotta' love 'em.
.
ReplyDeleteIf he knows he is lying as opposed to being mistaken, then he must be insane to think it would go unnoticed.
What will NObama say next?
