First full day of spring

March 21 is the first full day of spring, and it's anything but spring-like in the Chicago area--more specifically, on the border of Skokie and Morton Grove.

And now I'm going to go running in this weather. No need to worry, I've been doing this for years.

    We got about 14 inches in Zion. Thank god for global warming or it would have been much worse.

    We got about five, but my mother, who lives in the south suburbs, just got one, and all of it melted yesterday.
