Of the wildflowers of the late summer and early fall, goldenrod is a familiar one in the Midwest. What I'm not used to seeing is one so close to home, in a field two block from my home in Morton Grove adjacent to Interstate 94.
The fall colors are beginning to emerge here, I'll have a photo or two in the next few weeks.
