Pajamas Media BWIR on Live Earth and the shrinking screen

I got to it later than usual, but I just finished listening to the latest Pajamas Media Blog Week in Review.

Moderator Austin Bay is joined by Jeff Goldstein of Protein Wisdom and Neo-neocon in a discussion about the recent Live Earth concerts. Both guests have fallen to what Barack Obama calls the real enemy, cynicism. In short, they're not impressed what, if anything, the multi-continent gigs accomplished.

And now that iPhone is out, and can play movies such as the wide-screen classic Gone With The Wind, what will that mean for the film--or literary industries.

Goldstein is optimistic about little and short films. My take is that movies such as My Dinner with Andre and Coffee and Cigarettes could flourish on the new, little, media.
