Kansas County Fairs

As I drove up and down Kansas this week, one thing I noticed is about half of the counties I visited are having their annual county fair this weekend.

For instance, Shawnee County is holding it's fair in Topeka today. Events planned include a pie contest, various livestock competitions, something called "Wild Women," and a celebrity goat milking contest.

Will the Rev. Fred Phelps, Topeka's most infamous resident, take part?
