Roger Daltrey, sage

Here's what Who leader singer Roger Daltrey said about the our dependence on oil as an energy source last month, in relation to July's decidedly non-acoustic Live Earth concert next month:

We have problems with global warming but the questions and the answers are so huge I don't know what a rock concert's ever going to do to help.

My answer would be to burn all the oil as quick as possible, then the politicians will have to find a solution.

Today London's Independent had this to say:

Scientists have criticised a major review of the world's remaining oil reserves, warning that the end of oil is coming sooner than governments and oil companies are prepared to admit.

Rock on!
