Romney to give commencement at Pat Robertson's college
Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney will be headed into uncharted territory on Saturday--Pat Robertson's Regent University in Virginia, where he will give the commencement address.
I still don't think Romney's Mormon faith will give him as much trouble as the media--especially the dominant liberal segment of it--claims it will.
As I've blogged before, former FIRE president, David French, is one of the contributors to the blog Evangelicals for Mitt. French was one of the earliest supporter of Thomas Klocek in his ongoing struggle with DePaul University. Klocek, a Catholic, was fired by a Catholic college, but French, who is not a Catholic, was there to help Klocek.
So when you need something done, or if you need a good person for a job, a person's faith isn't the first thing that comes to mind.
By most accounts, Romney did well in last week's Republican presidential debate. It's a good time for him to pick up some momentum.
