Fort Dix terror plot thwarted

News is pouring in this morning about an alleged terror plot being thwarted by federal authorities. The target was Fort Dix, New Jersey and the soldiers inside.

Pajamas Media has a rundown here.

The suspects have been described as Albanian, then "ethnic Albanians," and at this hour according to AP, "four of the men were born in the former Yugoslavia, one in Jordan and one in Turkey."

Federal officials are calling the "Islamic militants."

Bill Hemmer on Fox News just referred to them as "converts to Islam."

From the same program, Hemmer's co-host, Megyn Kelly, reports that three of the suspects were in the country illegally.

UPDATE 10:05 AM CDT: AP has the names of the suspects.

The men were identified in court papers as Mohamad Ibrahim Shnewer, Dritan Duka, Eljvir Duka, Shain Duka, Serdar Tatar and Agron Abdullahu. Checks with Immigration and Customs Enforcement show that Dritan Duka, Eljvir Duka and Shain Duka are illegally living in the United States, according to FBI complaints unsealed with their arrests.
