Reporting of the impending sale of the Chicago Cubs dominated local news today, but on Chicago's South Side, the Chicago White Sox played the Cleveland Indians at the Sox' home opener.
It was a great day for baseball--it can snow in April in Chicago--but it was far from perfect, as the Indians topped the White Sox, 12-5.

The Cubs lost too, losing to the Reds 5-1 in Cincinnati.
