Reid on Iraq: Surrender now

Well, Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) didn't really say "Surrender, now," but he did say "This war is lost."

Reid is the majority leader of the Senate. His Republican counterpart, Mitch McConnell (R-KY) replied in a perfect fashion:

I can't begin to imagine how our troops in the field, who are risking their lives every day, are going to react when they get back to base and hear that the Democrat leader of the United States Senate has declared the war is lost.
