Radical muslim clerics demand firing of tourism minster--for hugging

The Saudis are getting what they paid for when they began funding all of those madrassas in Pakistan twenty years ago.

After completing a parachute jump for charity in France, Pakistan's tourism minster, Nilofar Bakhtiar, hugged her instructor.

From AP:

This was ''an illegitimate and forbidden act,'' the clerics said in their edict, or fatwa.

''Without any doubt, she has committed a great sin,'' the fatwa said. It declared that Muslim women must stay at home and must not venture out uncovered.
