Chicago White Sox, best record in baseball

I try to stay with political and media stories, but as a third-generation Chicago White Sox fan, I figured I better post something now, lest I'm accused of being a bandwagon hopper. They won again today, defeating the Blue Jays 10-7, contuing their seven game winning streak.

The 2004 Sox have another streak going, they've held leads in 30 straight games. The previous record holder was the 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers, who won their only World Series title that year.

The White Sox have not won a World Series since 1917, when they bested John McGraw's New York Giants.
