Riots in immigrant neighborhood in Sweden

Two days after the so-called elite media tore into Donald Trump over a "Swedish terrorism" there were riots in a predominantly immigrant suburb in Sweden.

From CNBC:
Spokesman Lars Bystrom said Tuesday that unidentified people, including some wearing masks, threw rocks at police, set cars on fire and looted shops in Rinkeby. One officer was slightly injured when hit by a rock. No arrests were made.

Bystrom says one officer fired his gun, not as a warning shot but because he was "in a situation that demanded he used his firearm."

Chiraq: 5 dead and at least 32 wounded over Presidents' Day weekend

Altgeld Gardens
As Chicago was blessed with record-breaking warm weather over Presidents' Day weekend, I expected an even worse toll of violence. Over the long weekend Fox Chicago reports that five people were murdered and at least 32 others were wounded. But left out of that tally is the 68-year-old man found dead with a bullet wound in his head in Little Village on the Southwest Side after a SWAT team standoff over a domestic disturbance. Police arrested a 37-year-old man.

Probably not a suicide.

Of Fox Chicago's documented murders, there was one in Austin on the West Side, and one each in Altgeld Gardens, Englewood, Back of the Yards, and Roseland on the South Side.

Last year over Presidents' Day weekend five people were killed in Chiraq and just 19 others were wounded.

The carnage is getting worse.

Presidents' Day: Thousands protested Trump nationwide, hundreds of millions did not

Counter protesters at Chicago Moons
the Trump Tower on 2/12/17
The media, dominated by leftist Donald Trump haters, reported in an excited fashion about the clearly coordinated, unspontaneous, anti-Trump rallies on Presidents' Day.

I particularly enjoy the Washington Post headline: "Thousands of demonstrators across US say 'Not My President.'"

Meanwhile, over 300 million Americans did not.

Donald J. Trump is the 45th president of the United States. Hillary Clinton is not.

Get over it, crybabies. Every seat in the House of Representatives is at stake in next year's elections as are 34 of the seats in the Senate.

Tucker Carlson speaks out on Trump's 'Sweden' remark

During Saturday's rally in Florida, President Donald J. Trump cited a Friday terror attack in Sweden. There was no terror incident there that day.

On Sunday via Twitter the president clarified his remarks by explaining that he was referring to a report on Tucker Carlson's Fox News program about the difficulties the Scandinavian nation is having in assimilating immigrants from the Middle East.

A few minutes ago Carlson discussed that Sweden segment from his show on Fox and Friends.

Happy Presidents' Day 2017

It's a glorious Presidents' Day for me--we have a new commander-in-chief, Donald J. Trump. But here I will salute our first president, George Washington.

Pictured below is the George Washington-Robert Morris-Haym Salomon Memorial which sits on the southwest corner of Wabash Avenue and Wacker Drive, about 100 yards from the Trump International Hotel and Tower.

It's as if it was pre-ordained.

The father of our country is standing in the center, on the left is Robert Morris, on the right is Haym Salomon. Morris and Salomon, both Pennsylvanians, were the most important financiers for the American Revolution, and sadly, both of them died broke.

Morris is only one of two men, the other was Roger Sherman, who signed the Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation, and the US Constitution.

Salomon was Jewish, the inscription at the base of the monument reads, "The Government of the United States, which gives to bigotry no sanction, to persecution no assistance, requires only that they who live under its protection should demean themselves as good citizens, in giving it on all occasions their effectual support. George Washington, 1790."

Happy Presidents' Day!

Thug arrested in Chiraq murders that killed 2-year-old and his uncle

North Lawndale
Last week three children died after getting shot in Chicago. One man, a member of the Black Gangsters, has been charged in one of murders, one of two child killings on the South Side.

A man was arrested in the West Side shooting that murdered a two-year-old boy. His uncle, a documented street gang member who was also slain, is believed to have been the intended target.

From DNA Chicago:
A 26-year-old man has been charged with murder in the triple shooting that killed a two-year-old and his uncle on Valentine's Day in North Lawndale.

Devon Swan, 26, was charged with first degree murder is the shooting that killed 2-year-old Lavontay White Jr. and his uncle Lazaric Collins, 26. A third victim, a 20-year-old woman who is pregnant, was also wounded in the shooting that was recorded live on Facebook.
Police believe Collins was the intended target of the attack which stemmed from a dispute between Collins and a group of individuals, police said.

Swan has a prior history with the Chicago Police Department and has been arrested nine times previously on a variety of offenses including armed robbery, illegal gun charges and narcotics possession.

Grandson of Chicago alderman charged with murder

Carrie Austin and Mayor
Richard M. Daley banners
Kenneth Austin, the grandson of Ald. Carrie M. Austin (34th), has been charged with murder in Kentucky.

The creep's grandfather, Lemuel Austin, was alderman of the 34th Ward until his death--his widow, Carrie, succeeded him.

From the Chicago Tribune:
On Thursday, Carrie Austin, chairwoman of the City Council's Budget Committee, was sketchy on the details but confirmed to the Tribune her grandson was arrested last week. She said her son, Kenneth's father, told her the grandson was wanted for questioning in the Kentucky slaying.

"As far as I know right now, they're just trying to get an attorney, so we can get some definitive information," said the alderman, whose 34th Ward encompasses parts of Chicago's Far South Side. "My grandson ain't killed nobody. People always say, 'You know, he could do that.' No, not this one. ... But that has to be proven."
"My grandson ain't killed nobody." This is the best that the residents of the 34th Ward can come up with?

Cook County court records show that her grandson has also been fighting felony attempted aggravated robbery charges since last year and has a court date on that case in March. According to his arrest report in that case, Kenneth Austin and a co-defendant were arrested by Chicago police in July for trying to rob two people in the South Side's Bridgeport neighborhood. In the arrest report, Austin's occupation was listed as a customer service assistant with the Chicago Transit Authority.

He has caused controversy for his grandmother in the past when it was revealed that she hired him on her staff after he was criminally charged with bilking a retiree out of thousands of dollars. The court case was mentioned in a 2010 Tribune story about aldermen who reward friends and relatives with their taxpayer-funded expense accounts.
Ald. Austin's son, Kenny--could this be Kenneth's dad?--has a checkered past.

From the Chicago Sun-Times in 2015:
The son of one of Mayor Rahm Emanuel's most powerful City Council allies has resigned from his $72,384-a-year city laborer’s job after an internal investigation concluded he crashed a city vehicle while driving on a suspended license, then had a co-worker cover for him to avoid taking a mandatory drug test.

Kenny Austin, son of Budget Committee Chairman Carrie Austin (34th), and co-worker Darryl Milsap were accused of violating numerous city personnel rules by participating in an alleged cover-up unmasked by Inspector General Joe Ferguson.

The crash that damaged a city van and a private vehicle, but caused no injuries, occurred in 2012. But it wasn’t until 2013 that Ferguson’s office got an anonymous tip alleging that the accident report filed with the Chicago Police Department and the damage report to the Department of Streets and Sanitation were fraudulent.

US Rep Danny K Davis: What

I'm just waiting for the announcement of a press conference from the office of the the United States Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Illinois.

From CBS Chicago:
Cook County Circuit Court Clerk Dorothy Brown requested a $10,000 loan from one of her senior-level employees for her husband’s business, federal prosecutors revealed Friday in a court document that’s part of a case investigating alleged corruption in the clerk’s office.

That and other new details in a prosecution court document filed Friday draw the closest connections yet to Brown and the federal investigation of alleged buying of jobs and promotions within Brown’s office, the Chicago Sun-Times is reporting.

Brown has not been charged with any crime and denies any wrongdoing.

Obama's former Chicago neighbors want his wall torn down

It's very unlikely Barack Obama will be moving back to Chiraq, oops, I mean Chicago.

So why are there walls and barricades surrounding his mansion on the South Side, you know, the own that convicted felon Tony Rezko helped him purchase?

Obama's neighbors, oops, I mean former neighbors, want those walls removed.

You see, Trump isn't the only president--or former president--who likes walls.

Trump: There are two Chicagos--one safe, one worse

Chicago's Trump Tower
Unlike Barack Obama, who lived in Chicago, President Donald Trump often discusses America's third largest--for now--city.

Near the end of today's tour de force press conference, Trump had this to say about Obama's hometown:
There are two Chicagos, as you know. One Chicago that is incredible, luxurious and safe. There is another Chicago that is worse than almost any of the places in the Middle East that we talk about and that you talk about on the news.
The incredible and luxurious part includes downtown and the Trump Tower. And the safe includes those places and Edison Park, Lincoln Park, and Mount Greenwood.

Three dead children in two days from Chicago violence

Chi-raq Cuisines
Yesterday a two-year-old boy died after being shot on Chicago's West Side--from gunfire that also killed a man and wounded a pregnant woman. On Saturday in separate shootings and 11-year-old girl and a 12-year-old were shot in the head. One of the victims died yesterday, the other today.

President Trump is right to call what is occurring in Chiraq carnage. Three children dead in two days--each of them caught in crossfire that in at least one case is clearly connected to gang violence--and the other two killings probably were too.

Antwan Jones, the accused killer of 11-year-old Takiya Holmes, is a member of the Black Disciples scumbags. A rival gang was allegedly selling marijuana in the apartment building where Holmes lived.

Chiraq man charged with killing 11-year-old

Oddly enough there is no mention in any of the media reports if this thug is a member of a street gang. If we assume gangs are everywhere in inner-city neighborhoods and nothing can be done about it, then I guess most people have given up turning things around in places like Chicago's South Side.

From CBS Chicago:
A 19-year-old man has been charged with murder in the shooting death of 11-year-old Takiya Holmes over the weekend.

Antwan C. Jones was charged early Wednesday morning, according to Chicago Police News Affairs.

Since Saturday, three children have been shot; two are dead and one is on life support.

Takiya was in a van with her mother and other relatives Saturday night, when they stopped at her mother’s workplace in the Parkway Gardens neighborhood, and bullets came flying through the window. A stray bullet struck Takiya in the head.
That same night a 12-year-old was also shot in the head on the South Side. The victim remains in critical condition and the assailant is at large.

Chiraq carnage: Toddler and man shot dead in alley, pregnant woman wounded

North Lawndale
Of my twenty-or-so urban exploration expeditions only once did I think that there was a good possibility that I was about to be shot. And that was last winter in North Lawndale, where the latest Chiraq atrocity occurred.

From ABC Chicago:
A man and a 2-year-old boy were killed and a pregnant woman was injured Tuesday afternoon in a shooting on Chicago's West Side.

The boy was identified as Lavontay White, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office. The man's identity was not immediately released.

The three victims were shot while sitting in a car in the 2300-block of South Kenneth Avenue in the North Lawndale neighborhood, police said. They were in an alley between South Kenneth and South Kostner when a man ran up to the car and fired multiple shots into the vehicle.

Police were reviewing a Facebook Live stream that appears to show the shooting and aftermath. In it, a woman and man are seen driving in a car with a toddler visible at times in the back seat. Shots ring out, prompting the woman to run from the car, yelling for help. The police's rundown of the triple shooting closely matches that same narrative.
Most likely this was a street gang related shooting, which, and I hate to keep repeating myself, but gang activity, not guns, are what is behind Chicago's killing spree.

In related news, one of the two pre-teen Chicago girls shot on Saturday on the South Side died today.

Flynn resigns as Trumps' national security adviser

Retired Lt. General Michael Flynn, a great patriot, resigned tonight as President Donald J. Trump's national security adviser.

Public pressure forced him out over little stuff. Flynn, before his appointment as national security advisor was approved by the Senate, discussed Russian sanctions, presumably the lifting of some, with the ambassador of Russia. Not a big deal but Flynn shouldn't have done it. Worse, he lied about that communication--and allowed the vice president to repeat that false information.

A bigger deal but one that should have cost Flynn his job.

On the way home from work tonight I listened to Mark Levin talk about treasonous actions by two Democratic senators from Massachusetts. John Kerry, who nearly became president in 2004, gave comfort to an enemy nation, North Vietnam, in his role as a leader of Vietnam Veterans Against the War. "Lurch" of course later served as Barack Obama's second secretary of state.

Sen. Edward M. Kennedy in the early 1980s sent an emissary to Moscow for his plot with Soviet General Secretary Yuri Andropov to push his disarmament schemes, better phrased as plans to weaken America, and to bolster his hoped-for presidential run in 1988.

Chiraq: 5 dead and at least 22 wounded over weekend

Austin, at the Oak Park border
While the numbers aren't as high as many other Chicago weekends, this past one was particularly tragic in Chiraq. Five people were shot to death and at least 22 other were wounded. Of the latter, two of the gunshot victims were South Side girls, one 11, the other 12, who were shot in the head in separate incidents. Both are in critical condition.

Three of the five fatalities, the occurred in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side. According to HeyJackass, Austin, which borders fashionable and smug Oak Park, leads Chicago in both fatal and non-fatal shootings. We here about Englewood but not so-much Austin. That will change soon, I assume.

The other two deadly shootings happened on the South Side, one in Auburn Gresham, the other in South Shore.

(Photos) Buttheads against Trump mooning protest

Chicago, which is of course ex-president Barack Obama's hometown, is a hotspot of Trump Derangement Syndrome. This afternoon the latest display of insanity from the left--Chicago Moons the Trump Tower--occurred at the Riverwalk, which is across the Chicago River from Trump International Hotel & Tower. Yep, that's its proper name. The silly stunt was organized by S#!TSHOW.

Classy.

The point, such as it was, of the protest was to convince President Donald J. Trump to release his tax returns. Yep. It was held on Abraham Lincoln's birthday, which is a big deal in the Land of Lincoln. But what the leftists should have done is stage the rally on April 15, as many Tea Party groups do.

What did I say about derangement? Oh, do you think Trump, now that this rally is over, will decide that now is the time to make his tax returns public?

There it is, Chicago's Trump Tower--a beacon of hope for all patriots in America's Heartland. Notice the halo above the Trump name.

I estimate there were about 100 cops keeping an eye on the crowd and protecting Trump Tower from the revolting peasants. To be fair the protesters were for the most part--when they kept their pants up--well behaved. I'm almost certain there were no arrests. But those 100 police officers watching over these mooners means 100 fewer cops patrolling the violent streets of Chicago's south and west sides.

The swarm begins.

There were many uses of the words "ass" and "butt" at the rally. It got tiresome very quickly. Oh, do you have time for a grammar question? In regards to the possessive case of "ass," should it be "ass'" or "ass's?" My stylebook offers conflicting answers. Speaking of asses, isn't the donkey, also known as the ass, the symbol of the Democratic Party?

This butthead admits that Trump pays taxes. Good to know...good to know.

Yes, that sign boasts, "My 62-year-old ass is in better shape than tRump's administration."

Yes, a police boat was patrolling the river during the mooning protest. Let's say a riot broke out--this boat would do what? Fire its cannons? Mount an amphibious assault? Chicago's bonds are rated as junk--you can't blame that solely on the city's public pension funding shortfalls. Chicago, which hasn't had a Republican mayor since 1931, simply can't manage money.

Hillary Rodham Clinton is portrayed here in my least favorite style of art, socialist realism. Which is ironic because despite the claim made by the woman in the pink pussy hat, Clinton is not "the people's president." That is fake news, not real news. Not even realism news.

Hillary Clinton is nobody's president.

"Honey, I think that man taking my photograph is going to insult me on his blog because I am wearing a pink pussy hat."

"Pajama Boy," the man-child who hawked ObamaCare a few years ago has a brother. Or is this his sister?

Butts! Butts! We must have butts!

After a half-hour of pointless speeches and some of the tiresome chants I recall from the Occupy protests--such as "This is what democracy looks like," the mooning commenced. It lasted about thirty seconds. They were, ahem, aiming at Trump Tower. This is not what democracy looks like.

Imagine a planet millions of light-years away. And someone on it has a telescope so powerful that it can see these mooners. That extraterrestrial will say to himself, "Next planet, there is no sign of intelligent life here."

Are you disappointed that you didn't see more skin? Hold on...

Here is a self-proclaimed "nasty woman," dressed as Cruella De Vil from 101 Dalmatians with strategerically placed red-tape on her nipples.

I'm sure her parents are proud.

Liberal actress Ashley Judd read a poem written by a 19-year-old, called I guess, "Nasty Woman," at last month's Women's March in Washington. "I am a nasty woman," it begins. "I am nasty like my bloodstains on my bed sheets,” is a line from later in that epic piece.

Of course I had to get one more pink pussy hat picture in.

My guess is that there were 150 protesters at the rally. Over one-thousand people, including myself, RSVPed on Facebook. While there was a strong and chilly rectum-piercing wind this afternoon, it was a pretty warm day for February in Chicago, the temperatures were in the mid-40s this afternoon. Yes, there were more than 150 people who attended the protest--I figure that there were 100 gawkers and maybe 50 media representatives and bloggers. Oh, and those 100-or-so cops. But the organizers can't blame the weather for the crappy turnout.

Yet there were others were in attendance.

What did I say earlier about Trump Tower being a beacon of hope for patriots? A happy few answered the call. Yes, there were counter-protesters participating in the frivolities.

There is your beloved Blogger Laureate of Illinois with President Donald J. Trump, or rather, "Jason," a patriot with a bullhorn who was teasing the leftists with good-natured jabs, many of them playing on their mutual dislike of Mayor Rahm Emanuel. Most of the protesters accepted the taunts in stride, but shortly before this photograph was taken a woman yelled "suck my dick" at Jason. Hers, not mine.

Did someone say "dicks?" This man is holding a sign that declares, "D*cks out for Harambe," in honor of the gorilla killed at the Cincinnati Zoo last year.

We started with buttheads and we conclude with a dickhead.

Some Illinois legislators want to make Obama's birthday a state holiday

At the very least--can they wait until Barack Obama is dead before public officials begin naming things after him--or declaring his birthday a state holiday?

The US Postal Service has a long-standing policy of only honoring deceased persons on stamp. That's a good rule.

As for Obama--outside of the Chicago area--he's not that popular in Illinois.

From Fox St. Louis
Several Illinois lawmakers are calling for former President Barack Obama's birthday to become a state holiday. The Chicago Tribune reports that, if the law is passed, August 4th would become the state's 13th official day off.

The legislation was proposed by Democratic state Representatives Andre Thapedi and Sonya Harper. Thapedi tells the newspaper that California instituted a similar state holiday for Reagan while he was still alive. But, that holiday did not call for a state shutdown. He notes that the state shut down and bank holiday are, "important to me and to my constituents."

Gov. Bruce Rauner’s office tells the Chicago Tribune that they are reviewing the
"Obama Day Bill."
As for the Reagan holiday in California, that began after he announced that he was suffering from Alzheimer's disease and left public life.

Illinois is beyond broke. It does not need another day to pay state employees for not working.

Chicago schools CEO blames governor for cash problems, compares him to Trump

CPS school on the South Side
For many years Chicago Public Schools has spent more money than it takes in. Its bonds are rated as junk. Rather than blaming the Chicago Teachers Union and the enabling Democrats, such as Boss Michael Madigan, its CEO, Forest Claypool, is pointing his finger at Gov. Bruce Rauner.

The Republican reformer has many solid ideas to turn around Illinois, such as changing state law so municipalities and government agencies can declare bankruptcy. But bankruptcy would likely mean a "haircut" for pension benefits, so the that common-sense approach is anathema to the CTU.

It's not about "the kids" with teachers unions.

Earlier this week CPS students were sent home with a letter where Claypool blamed Rauner--who has been in office for just two years--for CPS' two decades of financial malfeasance.

And Claypool even brought President Trump into the conversation.

From CBS Chicago:
Taking aim at Rauner, Claypool said: "He's clearly adopting Donald Trump’s tactics of attacking vulnerable citizens in order to score political points."

In December, the governor vetoed a bill that would have sent $215 million to CPS for pension payments. It was supposed to include pension reforms; it didn’t. Claypool says that victimizes the majority of CPS students.

"He's attacking the children of immigrants. He's attacking racial minorities. He's attacking the poor," Claypool said.
Claypool must be very desperate. Rauner and Trump are popular downstate and if there is any hope of a CPS bailout, Chicago is going to need votes from downstate legislators.

Not smart.

Prominent Chicago rapper stabbed to death

This crime occurred in a pretty decent neighborhood, although the victim was from Austin, possibly the worst one in Chiraq. The suspect is also a West Sider.

From the Chicago Sun-Times:
An East Garfield Park man was charged Thursday with fatally stabbing a well-known Chicago rapper the day before near the Metra tracks in the Fulton Market District west of the Loop.

The rapper, Walter Long Jr., 24 — known most recently as "dinnerwithjohn" — got into a fight with Kevin Alexander, 23, who pulled out a sharp object about 3:20 p.m. in the 400 block of North Clinton, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner's office.

Long ended up cut in his upper left torso and was pronounced dead at the scene at 3:52 p.m., authorities said. He lived in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

Alexander was taken into custody about 5:25 p.m. Wednesday at the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center, where he was being treated for a laceration to his chin, police said. He was charged with one count of first degree murder and was expected to appear in bond court Friday.
Most Chicago murders go unsolved--so it's encouraging that a suspect is in custody.

Appeals Court rules against Trump immigration order

It'll be on to the US Supreme Court for President Donald J. Trump, to be sure.

From AP:
A federal appeals court refused Thursday to reinstate President Donald Trump's ban on travelers from seven predominantly Muslim nations, dealing another legal setback to the new administration's immigration policy.

In a unanimous decision, the panel of three judges from the San Francisco-based 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals declined to block a lower-court ruling that suspended the ban and allowed previously barred travelers to enter the U.S. An appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court is possible.

The court rejected the administration's claim that it did not have the authority to review the president's executive order.

#TrumpSpring: Yuge tax cuts coming

Yes, Trump Spring is coming!

From Fox Business:
An announcement on tax reform is coming in a matter of weeks, President Donald Trump said Thursday.

Trump said his administration will soon provide more details on a much-anticipated plan to cut taxes, suggesting that corporations will see a significant reduction in taxes. He made the remarks before a meeting with airline executives at the White House.

“We’re going to … lower the overall tax burden on American businesses big-league. That’s coming along very well. We’re way ahead of schedule, I believe. We’re going to be announcing something, I would say, over the next two or three weeks,” Trump said.

The announcement will outline a "comprehensive" plan that addresses both corporate and individual taxes, according to White House spokesman Sean Spicer.

MarketWatch: In some ways Detroit is worse than in 2010

Southwest Detroit
I came to the came conclusion two years ago after my fabled trip to Detroit. Downtown and Midtown Detroit are improving. The rest of the city for the most part is still in decline--to the point where you can call Detroit a post-blight city.

From MarketWatch:
Overall, citywide data suggest Detroit is continuing to experience decline that makes it worse off than it was in 2000 or even 2010 in the depths of the national recession. Population, employment and incomes continue to decrease, while vacancies and poverty have increased.

Real progress has occurred in recent years in the Downtown/Midtown core, which runs along Woodward Avenue for almost 4 miles and covers an area of just over seven square miles. In addition to corporate and government offices, it includes the Detroit Medical Center, Wayne State University, sports and entertainment venues, and the city's major cultural institutions. Recent developments include restaurants, specialty retail and multifamily housing.

Downtown/Midtown covers only 5% of Detroit's 140 square miles, and its population of 26,000 is a tiny fraction of the 3.6 million residents of the metro area, 80% of whom live in the suburbs. Improvements in Downtown/Midtown have been insufficient to offset continued citywide negative trends. Less than half a mile from the GM Renaissance Center, the most visible marker of Detroit's downtown (motto: "Reflecting a new Detroit"), empty lots, weeds and dilapidated buildings prevail.
In 2013 Detroit filed for bankruptcy--it was America's largest municipal bankruptcy.

Napolitano: Constitutionality of travel ban is crystal clear

Fox News' Andrew Napolitano, a retired New Jersey superior court judge, says that the constitutionality of President Donald J. Trump's travel ban is crystal clear.

Review: Illinois GOP's "Drop the Mike" ad

I'm about a week late in review the latest Illinois Republican Party ad attacking Democratic Boss Michael Madigan of Chicago.

Madigan has been state House speaker for 32 of the last 34 years--he's the undertaker of what was truly a wonderful state. He's also the chairman of the state Democratic Party and his daughter his attorney general. And Madigan's an evil genius in regards to gerrymandering.

The Illinois GOP is about ten years late in figuring out that attacking Madigan is the best way to at least becoming a respectable opposition party. For that I give it the ad a "B" for effort.

But the rap and dancing is terrible. What ad agency created this mess? Madigan speaks with a strong Chicago axe-cent, not a New York one. I mean the agency could have hired me to do the Madigan rap. I can't rap--and presumably Madigan isn't able to either--which would of course qualify me. And while I've for the most part lost my Chicago accent, I can turn it on and off at will.

The rap gets an "F."

Madigan's "boys," Chris Kennedy, who declared his candidacy for next year's Democratic primary for governor, as well as left-wing Chicago billionaire Jay Pritzker and downstate legislator Andy Manar, join in for a hip hop dance.

If the state Republican Party does its job right--and it probably won't--Land of Lincoln voters next year will believe that whoever is the Democratic gubernatorial nominee in 2018 will be at the bottom of the ticket.

With Madigan on top.

Bringing in Kennedy, Pritzker, and Manar earns the advertisement a B +.

Hey there Illinois Republican Party--hire me for the next Madigan ad. I work cheap!
