EMOTIONAL: President Trump consoles family members of fallen soldiers

As part of today's Memorial Day service President Donald J. Trump met with the mothers of two fallen soldiers, with Vice President Mike Pence at his side.

One of the mothers recalled a conversation she had with her son and told our president, "He said, 'Mama, I hope that people don't forget that I lived.'" With great emotion she continued, "If you could just remember 'Jimmy' it would mean so much to me."

"We will do it," Trump replied and then shook the mother's hand.

Remember "Jimmy" on Memorial Day.

"Remember 'Jimmy' on Memorial Day."

Yes, every G.I. Jimmy, Joe, Jack or Jane deserves to be remembered, especially those whose earthly life was taken from them while on active duty. Thank you for the reminder.

P.S. Am sending you a separate email about someone who recently passed on, who you may know.
