Obama's shrinking Navy has one less ship today

Reagan statue, Dixon, IL
Yesterday the USS Denver, an amphibious transport dock, was decommissioned at Pearl Harbor. Our Navy already has fewer ships than at any time since the First World War. By the time President Obama and his scuttler, Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel are finished, the Navy will have only 230 ships, far fewer than the 600-ship naval force built by Ronald Reagan.

Because of Obama's reckless foreign policy, the world is on fire. And increasingly, America can't do anything about it.

During a 2012 presidential debate, Mitt Romney brought up the Obama's goal to shrink our Navy. As is his wont, the man who claims to know the future mocked Romney, stating Romney is more familiar with the era "horses and bayonets."
