Lamar Alexander: A Republican senator who is wrong on EPA's Utility MACT
Sen. Lamar Alexander of Tennessee is the only Senate Republican who favors the jobs-killing EPA Utility MACT regulations. As a thank you for his support in attacking prosperity, a fringe environmental group, the Environmental Defense Action Fund, is thanking Alexander for his position.

LAMAR!* Alexander is not really a RINO, but sometimes gets odd bees in his bonnet about something. When he does, you just can't move him. Otherwise, he can usually be educated. He comes up for election in 2014, and with luck there will be a single, viable conservative alternate. He is almost unbeatable in TN politics, but in the past few elections he always had move than one conservative primary challenger, thus guarantying his renomination.
*Local joke. All his signs, bumper stickers, etc always have this on them.
