Romney campaign video: Soul Mate

Although the position of First Lady, or as Sarah Palin dubbed it, "First Dude," is not mentioned in the Constitution, the president's spouse is a part of the package voters decide upon every four years.

With the exception of Barbara Bush, every First Lady going back to Pat Nixon--I don't have any clear memories of their predecessors--have been a lightening rod for criticism.

Ann Romney, who suffers from MS, talks about the disease in this Romney campaign video, "Soul Mate."

Her husband and her five sons also appear in this clip.

As for Ann, I'm confident that the public will embrace her in the manner they did with Barbara Bush.

Today is World Multiple Sclerosis Day.
