Video: Jay Carney can't answer why Democratic-controlled Senate can't pass a budget

In my prior post you saw that Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), the chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee, contradicted her party's Senate leader, over the necessity to pass a budget. The Senate hasn't passed one in over 1,000 days.

Watch Fox News' Bret Baier grill White House spokesman Jay Carney as he muddles through a weak explanation as to why the Senate can't do its job.

Baier points out that only 51 votes are needed to pass a budget in the upper chamber, there are 53 members in the Democratic caucus.
