No April Fools' joke: USA has world's highest corporate tax rate

Japan's lower corporate tax rate takes effect today. Which means the United States now has the highest corporate tax rate on the planet.

Although President Obama has toned down his anti-business rhetoric of late because it's an election year--a lower corporate tax rate would create hundreds of thousands of jobs and raise the income of a typical family by almost $2,500 annually.

Businesses create jobs--and the president needs to make it easier for them to do so. Instead of picking winners and losers in the marketplace, we need lower corporate taxes--not more Solyndras.

This is not an April Fools' joke. America is number one--and not in a good way.
