Kinzinger discusses failed stimulus, economy on PBS Chicago

Two Illinois members of congress, Adam Kinzinger (R-Manteno) and Bobby Rush (D-Chicago), appeared on the local PBS affiliate's "Chicago Tonight" on Thursday to discuss the anemic economy, the deficit super-committee, and the lack of jobs.

The host, Carol Marin asked Kinzinger about jobs.

Kinzinger: You said where are the jobs going to come from? Two years ago, we tried spent a trillion dollars on jobs and it didn't work. It failed.

Marin: The argument is that it wasn't enough. It needed to be more.

Kinzinger: Well then let's just make it $10 trillion?
