800 days since Dems passed a budget

It's an ominous day for Washington Democrats. On the same day we learned that the national unemployment rate increased for the third straight month, a shameful landmark has been reached. It's been 800 days since the Democrats, who still control the US Senate, have passed a budget.

Jeff Session, the ranking Republican on the Senate budget committee, spoke about the "unsustainable, dangerous path to debt crisis we are on today" on Fox News' Happening Now.

"It's an anxious time… I wish we'd had a full, public debate all year so the American people could be in on the deal. We've had too much private, secret negotiations, in my opinion," the Alabaman told host Jon Scott. He added, "We should have been producing real hearings, real analysis, expert witnesses and testimony, beginning to craft legislation over a period of weeks and months, not at the last minute here."

Hey Dems: Happy Ocho-anniversary!
