Tripadvisor.com names Galena, IL top American charming small town

Ulysses S. Grant Home, Galena, IL
Tripadvisor.com released its list of top American charming small towns a few days ago, and Galena, Illinois, which I last visited in 2009, came up number one in the list. I think it's a well-deserved honor, but to tell the truth, I've only been to only one of the remaining towns on the list--Charlottesville, Virginia, which isn't really that small. Charming? Yes.
