Ronald Reagan float in New Year's Day Tournament of Roses Parade

The greatest president of my lifetime, Ronald Reagan, will be honored by a float in the annual Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena on New Year's Day.

2011 will be a big year for Reaganophiles, the Gipper was born on February 6, 1911 in Tampico, Illinois.

Click here (be patient, it will take time for it to upload) to see a KNBC-TV report on the float. The Hope for America has video as well, which uploads immediately.

On New Year's Day, you win one more for the Gipper by voting for the Reagan float, but only between 8am to 2:10pm Pacific Standard Time. How? You can either text “Float52″ to “50649″ of visit the Tournament of Roses Parade site.

Hat tip to Doug Ross.

Thx for the heads-up on this one, John. Can't wait to see what you have in store for his 100th in Tampico and Dixon.
