McConnell calls for repeal ObamaCare

Bolstered by six reinforcements, including one early arrival, Senator-elect Mark Kirk of Illinois, Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is calling for a total repeal of ObamaCare.

From AP:
LOUISVILLE, Ky — Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell says he'll push to repeal the health care overhaul passed by congressional Democrats, and if that fails he’ll try to undo the law "piece by piece."

McConnell will lead a larger Republican minority when the next Congress convenes. Republicans gained at least six Senate seats in Tuesday's election, and the GOP held a Senate seat from Kentucky with Rand Paul's victory.

McConnell told Kentucky reporters in a conference call Wednesday the election was a referendum on President Barack Obama, the outgoing Democratic-led Congress and their "massive overreach."

He called the health care law a "monstrosity," and says his first choice is to repeal and replace it. If that fails due to a lack of votes or a presidential veto, his next option is to review the law "piece by piece."
Meanwhile, the House can choke ObamaCare and deprive it of funds.

The GOP is smoking dope if they think they'll get it all repealed. The best they can hope for is some give and take from the Dems to change some of it and add some of the things they'd like.
